Dylan Scheeler

Dylan has been working in the substance abuse treatment field for five years. His personal experience with the ups and downs of addiction and recovery sparked his interest in the field at a young age. Originally from Illinois, he moved to Florida in 2016 and began his career in treatment at a substance abuse and mental health residential treatment facility, where he worked for two years. Working in Florida revealed Dylan’s passion and talent for helping people afflicted with substance abuse and mental health issues. Dylan moved to California in 2018 to explore other opportunities and rose to the role of Operations Supervisor for a sober living company. Working in treatment has been especially rewarding for Dylan, not only because it allows him to assist and support people with whom he intimately relates, but also because it has been a meaningful part of his journey in discovering who he is. Because Dylan strongly identifies with and understands the underlying struggles associated with addiction and mental health, he is able to meet each client with considerable empathy and compassion.
