Nicole Pollastrini

After many years working in the beauty industry, Niki switched careers to do more meaningful work in the field of recovery. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University where she had special training in suicide prevention and crisis intervention. She is currently attending Oxnard College to become specialized in drug and alcohol counseling. Niki has personally been in recovery for 13 years and has actively worked a variety of 12-step programs including Narcotics Anonymous, Celebrate Recovery and Recovery 2.0. She has sponsored many women over the years and has successfully implemented mentorship programs at local women’s shelters because she believes a strong support system is essential to long-term recovery. One of Niki’s favorite aspects of working at Iris Healing Retreat is seeing clients become empowered to make positive changes in their lives as a result of the multitude of treatment modalities offered at our residential facility.

In her free time, Niki loves to spend time with her husband and their three children. She loves peak hiking, camping, baking and all things Christmas.
