Sarah is a Primary Therapist at Iris Healing. She received a Master’s in Clinical Counseling with an Emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2021 and is currently an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, gaining hours towards her licensure.
Sarah’s therapeutic experience includes facilitating spirituality groups and art therapy groups in residential facility as well as co-ed groups for teen anger management, online romance scam support, and sexual assault support. While working for a non-profit, she provided trauma-informed psychotherapy for clients aged 12 years old to 85 years old, served as an on-call advocate for SART and Safe Harbor in Ventura County, and received extensive training in working with domestic violence, LGBTQ+, and trauma.
When Sarah is out of the office you can find her spending time with her family, baking seasonal treats, and re-watching Gilmore Girls for the 100th time.
Sarah is caring and gentle in her treatments, finding new ways to incorporate healing and holistic techniques in her practice.
